Photography from NHRA Saturday event in Adel, Georgia. We got there at noon and it was sprinkling al day, There was a lot of waiting around. The began the races around 5pm after spending a couple of hours going up and down the track trying to dry it out. The Nitro cars were the first ones out and I knew they are loud but it is somehting special to experience it, it’ll surprise every launch.

Concours d’Lemons was just as entertaining as the cars themselves—full of humor, personality, and wonderfully imperfect automotive pride. Quirky prize packages and humorous repartee between judges, and owners proudly showing off their wonderfully imperfect vehicles, it was a great reminder of the humor and absurdity of Concours d’Lemons.
