In the video, we see a variety of different car enthusiasts showing off their unique and modified rides at the Concord & LeMons event. We see Jeff Rowe explain his unique “Booney Bug,” which is made from a 1960 Volkswagen Combi chassis with a concept of a mobile chalkboard for kids to use to draw on. We also meet other different car enthusiasts like Dan Scanlon, who explains the history of his 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano Verde. We also meet Bill from North Carolina, who shows off his 1977 Trabant, which is a unique German vehicle with a two-cylinder engine. We see everything from classic restoration jobs like the 1965 Volkswagen Split Window Bus to unique vehicle creations like the 1990 GMC School Bus, which is made into a party vehicle. We also see the different stories from the owners of the cars as they attend the event, competing for different awards like “Rust Belt American Junk” or “Best Back Seat” for a Chrysler PT Cruiser limousine. We see the event is taking place through the rain, but the spirit of the event is to celebrate the culture of cars.
